EFL/ESL Teacher / Corporate Instructor / Business English Teacher

With more than 3 years of experience in teaching English in Morocco and China, this gave me more hands-on practical experience that allowed me to explore the different learning and teaching contexts and the different learners. For instance, my experience in Web International English Training Center in China allowed me to deal with different age groups, teach adults and teenagers, to deal with business people, and to manage large classes in some instances. Furthermore, my second year of experience in China, which was with kids, helped me to learn how to manage a classroom composed of kids with different interests and how to engage them in the learning process.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies, Linguistics, from Mohamed V University, Rabat in 2014. Afterwards, I pursued my graduate studies in Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fes, and completed the MA program “Applied Language Studies and Research in Higher Education” in 2016 with a good merit. As you will see from my resume, I also completed a teacher-training program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the ENS, Rabat. The MA program equipped me with the necessary background knowledge concerning the teaching methodologies and theories of learning, along with various issues related to teaching and learning. I also had the chance to complement this knowledge with practical skills that I acquired from the TEFL program. We had the chance to interact with and learn from professional teachers who organized workshops regarding classroom management, using ICT in teaching, best practices for teaching kids, etc.  Besides, this training involved a one month of practice teaching in a public high school. During this period, I had the chance to put all my knowledge and skills into practice. I learned different skills regarding different pedagogical aspects such as lesson planning, materials adaptation, lesson delivery, classroom management, classroom language, assessment and evaluation, among others.
