    Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is seeking to appoint an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for August 2024.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in August 2024. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young learners and the ability to create engaging and supportive learning environments. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning instruction, fostering a love for learning, and helping students develop essential learning skills. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of primary concepts, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

    Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students in Cambridge programme, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
  • Assess student learning and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including English language learners, students with special needs, and advanced learners.
  • Integrate technology into learning instruction to enhance learning experiences and promote digital literacy skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that integrate core subjects with other subject areas.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, pedagogical knowledge, and content expertise.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in UK curriculum, incorporating research-based strategies into teaching practices. We are looking for reflective practitioner who has:
  • Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or equivalent, and who are committed to the welfare of all children
  • A degree and PGCE or B.Ed or the equivalent, with a minimum of two years post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Experience delivering UK National Curriculum or Cambridge Programme
  • Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching
  • High expectations and aspirations for all students
  • A commitment to the overall development of young people
  • An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop
  • A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record Previous teaching experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage.
