    About the Role

    Axiata Digital Labs is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our sales efforts across Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the expansion strategy for the African market to achieve revenue objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive expansion strategy for the African market, aligning with business objectives and driving revenue growth.
    • New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive market expansion, leveraging your expertise in sales leadership and industry knowledge.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
    • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Telecom, Banking, and Finance sectors, driving business growth and revenue.
    • Conflict Resolution: Identify and solve any conflicts pertaining to the business side, eliminating misconceptions and misunderstandings.
    • RFP Documentation: Oversee the preparation and implementation of RFP documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
    • Event Planning: Set up meetings for events and participate in events as required, representing Axiata Digital Labs and driving business growth.
    • Marketing Support: Actively support marketing and inside sales activities as and when required, contributing to business growth and revenue.
    • Proposal Development: Collect correct data to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Partnership Development: Ability to approach and set up new local partnerships across Africa, driving business growth and revenue.
