Group Summary

Magna is an innovative leader in the development and manufacturing of seating structures, foam and trim, mechanisms, and complete seats for global automotive, heavy truck and bus industries. About the Role

As a product engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing and improving technology solutions as per the client's industry. You will work closely with other team members & engineers in the field to ensure that products meet customer's needs and goals.

Your Responsibilities

Perform product testing, analysis and updates on a quarterly/annual basis.
Work with product managers to develop product roadmaps and timelines.
Collaborate with other engineers and designers to solve complex technical problems.
Develop and implement testing procedures and product prototypes.
Provide technical support to customers and other team members as needed.
Stay updated with industry trends and implement changes in the systems accordingly.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor's degree / Engineering degree in industrialization engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product engineering or a related role.
Knowledge of product development processes, including ideation, design and testing.
Experience with design software and tools, such as CAD and simulation software.
Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for solving complex problems.

Your preferred qualifications

Proven Know how in product design process in TRIM for automotive industry
Advanced degree or certificates in engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
Understanding of regulatory requirements for product development.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with other teams to explain product designs.
Passion for innovation and creating new products that solve real-world problems.
