Meryem Jall

Born in Rabat, on 03/11/1993, architect, designer. Graduated from the School of Architecture of Casablanca. My research within the university as part of my final thesis aims to survey the staging of the urban landscape of the city, making it readable and thus revealing the urban landscape through urban staging. During my years of study, I participated in a workshop on Mediterranean metropolises in Marseille. As part of my experience in socio-professional integration, I did field internships at the Bouregreg Valley development agency as part of the Bab Al Bahr project, also an internship in a private architecture agency – Taoufik El Oufir Agency – then at Al Omrane, the Rabat-Salé urban agency, as well as other organizations. Parallel to my studies, I participated in 2019 as an architect in the HOUDOUD ("Borders") program led by UNESCO, the Fatima Mernissi Chair / Mohamed V University / HEM, and their partners, this program aims at the fertilization of knowledge through the meeting of art and research". My project deals with migratory transitions in an architectural process reconsidered in a material production associated with investigative work and the creation of temporary experiences, mixing mainly installation, sound and urban maneuver. Founding member of the cine-beach festival in Harhoura, participated in the realization of the model of the stage, backstage and space of the film festival, as well as the trophy of the festival. I organized and realized my first solo .exhibition in tribute to my grandmother self-taught painter
